Workflow Publishing

The Workflow Publishing feature allows you to make your workflows active and ready to use. Once published, workflows can be executed and used by other users in the system.

How to Publish a Workflow

Publishing a workflow is simple and takes just a few clicks:

  1. Go to Workflow Setup

    • Click on Workflow in the sidebar menu
    • Select Workflow Setup from the sub-items
  2. Select Your Workflow

    • Find the workflow you want to publish in the list
    • Click the checkbox next to the workflow name
  3. Click Publish

    • Click the + Publish button at the top of the list
    • Confirm the action if prompted

What Happens When You Publish

After you click publish:

  • Workflow becomes active - It can now be used by others
  • Status changes to "Published" - Shows as green in the list
  • Ready to run - Users can start using the workflow immediately
  • Automatic checks - System verifies everything is set up correctly

Workflow Status Explained

Tips for Successful Publishing

  • Check your work - Make sure all steps are configured correctly
  • Test first - Run a test if possible before publishing
  • One at a time - Publish workflows individually to avoid confusion
  • Ask for help - Contact your administrator if you encounter issues
